Sri Venkitaramanan was the eighteenth Governor of the Reserve Bank of India and served as Finance Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, from 1985 to 1989. He is seen by many as a brilliant crisis manager. Here, we present 10 Rupees note of 1992 bearing the signature of S. Venkitaramanan. Please note that this type does not bear an inset letter.
It bears a serial number in large font text from the previous issue. The serial number may vary from image. The front side of the Black & White 10 Rupees note depicts Emblem, Serial Number and Reserve bank of India in capital letters and the backside of the note features boat.
